Torrox Costa Beach
The beach has a narrow and wide area and you can hire cheap sun beds and umbrellas, but there is also enough space for your own chair. It is touristy, but not busy.
Torrox Costa Boulevard
The promenade of Torrox Costa is about 3 km long and there are all kinds of shops and many restaurants that are open all year round.
Torrox Village
Torrox itself is a typical Spanish white village, with a cozy central square that is covered with colorful umbrellas in the summer and where various restaurants can be found.
Torrox Monday Market
The market on Monday is pleasant busy. In the area (such as Nerja and Velez Malaga, Caleta de Veléz) there are also markets on other days.
Nerja
Nerja is a busy tourist coastal town with several beautiful beaches, nice shopping streets and of course Balcon de Europa, a place to be. Later in the day and in the evening a lot of live music can be heard there. The caves of Nerja are also worth a visit.
Rio Chillar
A popular activity is walking along and through the river Rio Chillar. Especially in summer time this is a cooling experience. Do bring good shoes with you! See the link walking along the Rio Chillar.
A little further away is Granada (1 hour away) with the unique Alhambra complex. A day trip to Malaga and Ronda is also interesting to do.
